Run like the wind blows! Coastline has incessantly changed their story to cover up their misdeeds. We signed a lease to stay 8 nights but they EVICTED us after 4. Coastline is required under Florida statue 509 to register each condo or dwelling as a vacation rental. They only had one of the twenty-three properties they were advertising registered during our stay in October 2024. Pick a better company to rent from. They didn’t even follow the law in our situation! Buddy B. the “owner” snuck out of work to kick us out. I had to pay the Walton county government to obtain proof. They wrote him up once I inquired about why he wasn’t at work and why he was at our rented condo. He previously was employed by the same sheriff’s department he used to evict us too. Crazy story…. We know…. The unit we stayed in was not licensed at the time of our stay. They have them now! Buddy evicted Mrs. McGaha Berlingeri, my mother-in-law on vacation with her grandkids. Then this company said her review was “fraudulent” 😂, it’s not! They changed it to “This person is not and has never been a registered guest with our company.” This behavior from Buddy is not surprising. He lied directly to the police which is a crime. Be extremely careful reporting any issues with your unit. We stayed in Westwinds unit 4710 and were evicted by Buddy who identified himself as the owner of Coastline Real Estate & Property Management Group. Buddy had the sheriff stand by while he evicted us. He evicted a family on fall break. When we arrived on Saturday to check in there were multiple minor problems we reported to management. The floor being raised up and required us to tape it down to prevent a trip hazard. This issue was obvious and already repaired. The maintenance man Bill made a temporary repair and added more tape to the floor. He also repaired a towel hook and shower door handle. We reported the bugs in the unit too. We reported the tv falling off the wall immediately when it happened. It was mounted to the drywall. When I google the brand of mount it specifically states to not mount directly into drywall alone. The tv was on a moveable wall mount We have multiple pictures of the issues. I told him to let the owners know about damages to our items from their tv too. We were told to contact KIEFER LAW GROUP, PLLC. The attorney is listed as an owner of Coastline too. More smoke and mirrors. To date the attorney has not reached out to resolve this. This is the product we received from Coastline Real Estate & Property Management Group. I wouldn’t do it again! No family should experience what we experienced.
